Bringing this back to the top to highlight that GOG is now doing the same with Baldur's Gate 3.

They missed an interim patch file (i.e. they have the hotfix for patch 4, but not the actual patch3->patch4 file), and now support is telling users to just redownload the entire 100+ GB install files.

GOG has given up any pretense of being a customer friendly DRM free platform. If you are not using Galaxy they will actively hurt you with incompetence.

Oh, that sucks. I thought at least via Galaxy the updates were still incremential.
