I think I'm actually just a little bit hyped. It's good to see it not remain a Steam exclusive on PC.

Go GOG!
We're getting the walking simulator with a brain-fart story that tries to be "deep and meaningful"!!!!! Huzzah!!!!

Shots fired.
Too late. Watched Jesse Cox play it through.
* checks the system requirements on Steam *

Looks like i just saved $20 .
Meh, it's not bad although apparently the ending sucks.

it's those pretensious walking sims that watching a yt video of them is the exact thing as "playing" them.
While some may not like it when I post SteamSpy stats after GoG rejects a game showing how "niche" it really is...

Firewatch
Release date: Feb 9, 2016 Price: $19.99
Score rank: 57% Userscore: 83% Metascore: 81%
Owners: 237,088 ± 11,577

That's a lot of owners for a game which hasn't been more than 10% off.
This game would have a decent chance to make the GoG catalog with a tenth those owners.

If that many people are willing to shell out at least $18 for the game, this game must have a real appeal.
Eh, might keep an eye on it. So far the only "Walking Simulator" that I enjoyed was The Stanley Parable (and to some extent A Machine for Pigs), a few others I've play didn't really do much for me.

How many of them actually played the game ? ( i bet most of them bought it because of those fancy youtube let's plays )
Also how many of them are older than 30 years ?

That's great, I really enjoyed this one. It felt realistic in its way to present the job of the title as an adventure.
