Spectre: Cataclysm was good at the start before it got dumbed down in later patches.

As for the trailer, it looks good if a little cheesy but as for the game I'll leave you with this accurate but rude comment from someone some guy on another forum.

Plagerism or not MOP was much better expansion than Warlords of Draenor. At least I get to see more of the world than WODs where I am stuck in the Garrisons.

I dunno - watching the trailer I didn't feel like it measured up even to LOTR which is now over a decade old. I didn't see any issue with the animation itself, but the balance between CGI and live action just felt off.

I think it'll come down to the reviews for me. I'm not going to see it just because I played for years back in the day.

Yes, a speed bump to be precise.

I first thought that is another trailer for the incoming movie, and kept thinking "this looks like a generic Blizzard game intro" and "hey, didn't someone claim the movie will have only humans and orcs?".

It dawned to me only at the very end that apparently this is a game trailer after all.

You know, it's dawned on me that the most enjoyable MMO would be one without any PvE overworld, one where there's only dungeons, there would be a "Adventurer's Guild" which acts as an interface for party matchmaking, and then you just just play. Running dungeons with other people is the most enjoyable part of an mmo anyway.

It's hard to believe that WoW is still a thing. BDobbinsFTW gives CoD a hard time for reusing engine tech from the idTech 3 days, but I wonder hold old WoW's engine is now.

PVE Overworld is one of the things I ENVY about MMORPGs.

I mean I can I not have large sprawling worlds in MMORPGs in Single Player form I mean look at the map of Everquest 2:

Elder Scrolls got nothing on Everquest 2. And it all has unique dungeon instances. Where as ES just re-use the same assets to make hundreds of dungeons.
