And since my English is not that good I'll try to explain. Let's imagine they do have snow every winter we do up north. In that case children will play with snow, build snow castles and... probably figurines (it's normal for human beings after all). So what? Would they forbid that? Because you know proper Muslim can't create anything similar to... human beings.

Good logic. Let's forbid snowmen, let's forbid dolls, let's forbid VIDEO GAMES there are too many images "of a human being" there.

No really I read the article twice and then again. There is no snow in Saudi Arabia, there was a snow storm. If the truth is so disgusting then I don't know... chat me.

From wiki:
"Rainfall in Tabuk Area falls in the winter months from November to March, and precipitation ranges between 50 and 150 mm, with some not uncommon snow every 3–4 years"

We have snow every winter. Same applies to northern countries especially to Scandinavia. Kids always play with snow cause it's so much fun, people like to create and build something. I believe that even cavemen people were obsessed with images of animals and sentient human beings which is opposed by Islam, especially Sunni, it's called "Aniconism".

So much question stands: What that Saudi cleric knows about f@#ng snow?

Oh, I thought you still hadn't read it. Fair enough! And yeah, it doesn't snow there, it was just a surprising snow storm, so that's why the fatwa was issued - funnily enough, if they had snow regularly, maybe it would've been issued earlier on and rebelled against, haha!

We also get snow here regularly and I love it!
