After an eight-year break, I'm back to smoking a pipe. I decided to go for a Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipe after reading so much good stuff about 'em. I got the Legend, with a flat bowl and a straight stem. Now, I've only smoked briar pipes before, so this is my first time with a corn cob, and let me tell you, I love it. I got myself some Virginia tobacco and some Green River tobacco, locally grown, and made a 1:1 blend. It's excellent.

So... any fellow pipe enthusiasts?

yes! i like smoking it on saturday nights after everyone goes to bed and right before a boot up a decent rpg. mine is glass and i fill it with grass. my first pipe was aluminum. i was 21, i had just gotten an apartment, and i had no idea how to make rolling papers work. that fucker scorched the hell out of my lungs for the weeks i used it. seems so long ago now, almost 12 years.

I find a chillum works best.

I've tried everything under the sun and I just keep going back to the aluminum. I guess I'm broken in that way.

I can play anything high, but I can't play anything at all after drinking, even a little bit. Which works out well for me since I only drink socially and don't play multiplayer at all or see people socially all that often. :)

The only reason I use aluminum is because I won't do that reading. ;)
