I was seeing incredibly slow speeds using Chrome. Did everything I could think of. Jumped to Firefox - first few downloads seemed fine - then again - BAM! - slow download.

A 31MB file took about 3 minutes to even pop up where it wants me to save it.

Once it does that - downloads are stable. But it's that first launch.


Naturally. I post this and it seems more stable now. Le Sigh.

thats seems to be the new normal nowdays, well just do not buy games from gog. almost always you'll be f*cked. be it the broken, unupdated, abandoned games, slow download speeds, horrible support or some other stuff that'll be a pain in the ass for you. gog is a broken mess nowdays.

There were others having issues yesterday or day before, it resolved itself after some time. I just randomly tried one now and it opened immediately and downloaded at full speed. Afraid there is not much to do other put in a support ticket.
