Okay, so I've been having this trouble for quite some time, and decided to contact support on mid July of this year.

My problem is I'm getting very slow download speed with Galaxy, and even when I'm downloading files manually with browser. Updates stuck, syncing saves failed frequently. The other launchers that I'm using aside from Galaxy (Steam, Rockstar, Blizzard) never have any kind of download problem whatsoever and I'm getting max download speed all the time.

With Galaxy, at times, the speed would hit max, but then at some point in the download, it suddenly stopped, or getting about KB/s speed, which is very annoying. Most of the times I'm getting very very low speed compared to my bandwidth,and the download failed. And that goes for updating games in my library as well.

This is getting frustrating and makes me very reluctant to use Galaxy, or buying games here. I know that I'm just one customer, but GOG is my primary choice of digital store, and with this issue persists even after months, I really need to reconsider my options. Btw the last update from GOG support is on August, and nothing after that. I don't think that GOG takes this matter seriously. I wrote this post after asking for update from GOG support, but after taking this long, I doubt that there's going to be an improvement, even though I'm hoping for one.

I rarely post this kind of thing, so please excuse my ranting, and please GOG, please look into this matter more seriously. If I can't download the games that I bought, or if it takes forever to download from, why would I bother buying games from you?

It seems your ISP has trouble connecting to GOG's CDN. There's not much GOG can do about this. It would be interesting to know if this a general problem in your country, or just your ISP acting up. You could try friends or internet cafes and check if downloads are any faster. If your ISP is to blame, it would be better to direct complaints to them.

The problem is I don't know people around me who's buying from GOG, but I can try downloading from a friend's house later. And the other thing is this, many times that the download seems okay, but after ~50% or even nearing completion, it stops. If I know for sure that the ISP is the one to blame, I won't even make this post in the first place. Since I already inform GOG's support regarding my details.
