I_maxfaded_I: Vortex has the same issues... without manually copying loadorder / plugins from the Appdata - Skyrim Special Edition folder to the Skyrim Special Edition GoG folder each time you install a new mod, it wont read any new mods installed since the last time you did. IDK if this is a Game issue or a Vortex issue but its a PIA.
Mod Organizer 2 has been updated for the GOG version and will install the files in the correct location.

Hy guys,
im getting this error:

A DLL plugins has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs ti be updated. Please check the mod´s webpage for updates.

RaceMenu (skee64.dll): disabled, incompatible with current version of the game

Continuing to load may result in lost save data or other undesired behavior.

The only plugin that gives this error is the Race Menu, for example the SKUI works fine.

Any of u get this error and know who to fix it.
Thanks guys.

This means that the mod author needs to update skee64.dll to be able to work with the GOG version of Skyrim SE/AE.

abdollah87: Will Skyrim get it's separate forum? I feel that it should get it's own forum

Ice_Mage: ===> Separate vgame subforums for The Elder Scrolls series. Pros? Cons?
Yes, I agree. We should even have a sub-forum for modding problems with the GOG version of Skyrim. Not that we aren't grateful for it. There are people who are finding solutions to modding problems and it would be good if we could have one place where we can help others and receive help

I also have that problem, but I ignore the warning and load up the game. It works but the the racemenu is VERY cut-down. The author is aware of the need to update and has said they will update it "eventually" here is the link to their page: https://www.patreon.com/posts/racemenu-0-4-19-72519198

araujo.edvaldo: Another option is to manually edit the "Plugins.txt" file.
The file can be found at the following address:
%LocalAppData%\Skyrim Special Edition GOG

Enter this address in Windows Explorer, which will open the local application data folder. Usually:
C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition GOG

In "Plugins.txt" must be listed all installed mods with * (astherisc) before the enabled ones.

Example of content:
*My Enabled Mod.esp
*My Other Enabled Mod.esp
*Zombie Voice Remover.esp
My disabled mod.esp
My other disabled mod.esp
Thank you very much! it worked and helped me a lot. I can't play Skyrim without SkyUI :)
