My Christmas TV special is " Familie Heinz Becker: Alle Jahre wieder ".

It is a german comedy TV series about a family from Saarland (Germany). You can watch it currently in the ARD Mediathek for free (with an IP from Germany). But keep in mind it is german only. :)

One of the presents is a miniature nuclear power plant for kids and if you build it wrong it will make "Puff". If this is the case all toy buildings will get destroyed and all toy cows will fall over.

Yes, it really is. It seems to read the book but with Muppets... It's just perfect to satisfy my love for Dickens and that little part of me that will always remain a child.

as for Christmas specifically in films, for me it's obviously Hollywood. snow-covered New York, huge bags of gifts and shopping mall-bound Santa Klauses, bell-performed 'Let it snow' and all that stuff, y'know. funny thing, despite having this clear image of Christmas in States I won't remember any specific Christmas movie, except for Home Alone maybe.

this topic provides many European films, which is very enlightening. not digging deep I'd call Die Hard and Lethal Weapon my favourite films about Christmas even though they're actually action movies.
