Arena multiplayer shooters have always been my favorite shooter type, I still play UT 2004 and UT 3 often. I doubt any of the new arena shooters will have bots for offline play. If they do you will have to be connected to the internet to play against them... o____O
Annoying memories rather than tough. The tougher memories come from my knees getting screwed up, along with my shoulder. Took way too long to recover... I'm sure most of the CoD games are far too light vs the real thing, but ultimately it doesn't matter. I'm trying to remember. Was it Quake Arena? I remember my dad playing it on the 800Mhz AMD Athlon (beastly computer of the time), where there were 3-4 bots to fight, and then every 5 levels or something you'd fight a 1-on-1 that was 10x harder.
Makes me wonder how the AI in arena shooters have done recently.
