No, I mean there was a shortage or something and unopened packages went for double price on ebay. Might have been a special or collectors edition or something, can't remember exactly the backstory.

It's probably another expansion . Showtime's Katy Perry version . :)

Probably not. Sims 3 is developmentally dead now. And with the shell of the studio of the former skin of Maxis now disbanded, I wouldn't hold out for much more of Sims 4, either.
