Does anyone know where I can get the game? I use to have it on my old laptop but I can't find my download for it. Thanks

As of today, nowhere. It was available here for barely a year, though.

Download from where exactly? If it's GOG, check your account library and redownload the game. The game is not available for legal download (purchase) anywhere at the moment.

I have it in Gamersgate, but the last time I tried to install it., it didn't work on the grounds of DRM servers for the game being down. Even if you were able to buy it somewhere, it is DRM'd with an on-line check and as the deves has been out of business for a good while, you'd not be able to play it without cracking it.

If you don't mind that it is the disk version, there are a few selling on eBay right now.

The disc version might also have the online drm check, so I would recommend against buying it.

You are correct, and I am sorry that I did not see your comments about this in a previous post. Better to not go that route. I have a disk version that does not require an online drm check, but if the possibility exists, better to stay away from the disk version altogether.

scratch what I said earlier, the activation does seem to work. But on the other hand, the game is terrible, especially the voice acting is ear scratching.

I decided to check the Gamersgate version of Simon 4. It uses Tages DRM and the activation of the game does not work. So, if you see it in the sale somewhere, make sure it has no DRM before you buy it, as otherwise, you'll have a dead game in your hands unless you crack it.

Thank you everyone for your responses. It wasn't at gog I got it from but it might have been gamersgate. But i will make sure if I buy it from somewhere else it doesn't have drm

One could always crack it as you said after buying it. This way they bought it legally at least.

I was able to redownload from Gamersgate but It won't work it keeps saying error 13:6. I think it has to do with it wanting me to download load something called Tages setup 64. I hope gog gets the game back

You could always look for a crack for it if you know how to find such and use such....of course I don't know if one was made for that game & for obvious reasons I cannot link to any crack sites.

I don't think you're ever going to get it working legitimately again, the activation servers have long since been shut down. If it were me, I'd write to Gamersgate support and tell them the game won't activate. See what they say.
