Back on topic. I am reminded of another one: Limits on inventory space. I find that inventory management is one of the most tedious aspects of RPGs, and I like it when it gets out of the way and lets me enjoy the rest of the game.

(This becomes especially a factor in games where items are common, like in Baldur's Gate 2 where you have large groups of enemies that drop useless stuff, even though it makes sense from a realism standpoint for the excess amount of garbage to be dropped.)
Off the top of my head, 2 weapon limit in Bioshock Infinite and Alan getting tired after sprinting 10m in Alan Wake.

No way that's not unrealistic, Al is an author- he sits on his ass all day. Luckily he's not a gamer. I know gamers that get tired when they WALK 10 m.

It is realistic but gets irritating when you are just in reach of a light but Alan gets exhausted 2m away from it.
