Yeah, Future Cop is pretty much just an action game.

I adore the art style of several of those early 3D games on the playstation. I don't know what it is specifically. Perhaps the colour scheme combined with the blocky textures. It simply looks incredible.

front mission 3 is actually one of the better looking ps1 games
id rank colin mcrae 2 in there as well and soul blade
Silly realism:
Rise of the Triad 2013 Considering how nutty that game is, the human enemies is a realistic element which kinda sticks out. But it think this (small) degree of normality makes the game more solid, compared to all those arcade shooters with wacky monsters.

Silly unrealism:
Minecraft! If you build a tower using 64 cobblestones, and later break it down, you get your 64 cobblestone back. Not at all how how real world behaves, but it is perfect for sandbox gameplay, since you can build without worring about wasting your resources.
