Totally new to this site, so excuse me if this is a silly question.

My new PC won't arrive until sometime next week.

Is there anything stopping me from downloading the installation .EXE (using old-skool browser download), then shifting it over to the new PC and installing it there? (This current PC wouldn't handle the vast majority of games, anyway...)

I notice there's a SALE on. I'd like to go a bit nuts before the sale ends tomorrow night, and have a nice stash of games ready for when the gaming monster finally gets delivered.

So used to DRM-shenanigans, that's why I'm asking.

na, do just that.

As there is no DRM there is no limitation, you can download the game on your old PC and install them on the new one, or install them on both, as you wish...

This is just amazing. I'd heard about it, and it's why I think GOG is going to be my go-to for games.

I guess I could even buy the games in the sale, but not bother downloading them til I have the new machine - would that work?
