I wonder why can't find civilization III on gog anymore? was about to grab it couple days ago.

I don't think any of the Civilization titles have ever been on GOG. Maybe you're thinking of Colonization?

Maybe you're confusing it with Call to Power 2? As for the real Civ series, GOG has never carried any of those games.

What mistermumbles said. There are Sid Meier's on GOG, but none of the Civilization series. We'd need 2K to join as publisher here for that.

Love the game, but I think it's perhaps the weaker one in the series.

Does anyone know why exactly Gog doesn't carry Sid's Civ 1, 2 and 3 at all?

I had at least 2 CD copies of that game and cannot find them anymore so came on to try to buy them from gog and no luck. Ended up having to DL them offline.

I really would have loved to buy the real version of Civ 2 with the High Council working lol.

Well, until 2K - the current rights-holder for the Civilization franchise - was on board there was zero chance of that happening. Now that they are as of last week the possibility of that happening has improved greatly, although that is certainly not a foregone conclusion. But there's hope at least. ;)

It will hopefully be here soon, but I see it on sale for $1.33 on Humble Bundle every so often.
