stg83: On the contrary Shadow of Mordor which was also published by WB got its GOTY version on May 5th, 2015, just six months after its initial release.
Near that time (April 28, 2015 to be exact) Bundle Stars had the Shadow of Mordor Bundle with all the DLC included for 60% off and since August 26 this year it has became even cheaper where you can get it for 70% off even now. So in other words the more patient you are the better deal you'll be able to get. ;)

darthspudius: and you also have the annoyance of waiting. It depends on the person, of course, with my backlog I personally rather wait for the GOTY/Collector's/Complete/Limited/Whatever edition at a large discount unless I want to play the game immediately, which rarely happens, or I want to show support for the developers/publishers, which is happening less and less.

It's only a matter of (little) time until Batman will be available on gog, at least the first one, City or whatever the name is.
If I were you I would not buy from the bigger shop. But if you want to cave that's your decision to make.
Wait? Annoyance?? Who says anything about "waiting" to play a pitiful game? Do you really think that I wait on my chair in front of my computer, biting my nails in despair and with the credit card ready to be used the moment a "game" is available day zero?
I have so many nice things to do in real life and when occasional in virtual I have a big backlog of even nicer games waiting their turn to be played.
I own and control my "things" not the other way around, therefore that insect-that-I-could-crush-under-my-boot-game (shodan trade mark) can patiently wait its turn until I show a little bit of attention on its meaningless existance.
