I bought shivers when you first released it. It is my favorite game of all time. It played well when I first downloaded. My computer developed some problems with windows 10 a while back and I recently had to reinstall it. I now cannot get Shivers to download and play. It throws out an error window saying:
ScummVm status window
Warning: SCI failed to install engine: Game data not found
This is very upsetting!!!!!!!!!!

usually with older games the problem is directx., especially on windows 10.

When you say you reinstalled windows do you mean you did an in place restore that keeps your files from the recovery console? If that's the case you may have a link on your desktop for the game but the game itself was uninstalled.

Yes. that is what I mean. I reinstalled Shivers aslso but it keeps giving me a "failed" window stating the "disc cannot be found"???????
