Marioface5: EDIT: The whole demo promo was actually kind of deceptive. The price started around $35 if I remember correctly, so they made it look like the community was creating a massive launch discount. In reality, there was an $18 buffer to even get to the game's base price.
I expected it.
Trine 3 which is their flagship title is sold at $ 22, have an unknown title at $ 35 it seemed a bit strange.
But the demo event was still fun (and nowadays few developer create a demo, even multi-platform), plus the price is low enough.
Also having a base price of $ 17 means you can buy the game at any time, without fear the end of the promotion of the game's launch.
It was clearly a publicity stunt, but innocent enough.
I'm not excited. I played the demo but I didn't even get past the starting area. not my cup of tea I guess. I went really enthusiastic about it what with the female protagonist that isn't neither a bombshell or scantily clad, as well the option to play completely non-violently. as well as the clever situation they've created to create tension between a desire to play non-violently and protect a helpless charge from aggression.

I like Frozenbyte though. I'll definitely pay attention to the game when it comes out. I checked the page when the contest was over and the price had gone to like 14-16 dollars or something like that. I couldn't believe it. I thought they might delay it or split it up or something. They probably got more than they bargained for.

Nice to have a game like this anyway. I like Frozenbyte as I said.
