FeMaster: Wow, what crap this is. Clicked the link in the email and got nothing. Not all of us can sit in front of a PC 24-hours a day just waiting for a damn email to come in so we can pounce on a deal. We needed to be logged in to vote, so they know who voted, and from what I remember, the original email stated that only those who voted were eligible to get the game for free. If that's the case, there is no reason to have such a tiny window of time to get the game.
So I managed to get some time to process my email and find the wonderful notice that I have a free game waiting for me because I took the time to cast my vote, and it's all a line of bull shit because it has already been pulled.
SOME OF US ACTUALLY HAVE LIVES TO LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE THE INTERNET! This is me as well. I saw the mail at work. And that the sale was going on until Sunday. So I figured I would be able to do it later at home. Well... Guess you got to be quick here.
This is bad marketing on Gog's behalf.
