Only just realised it had come to GOG back in April (no idea how i missed it!!)
There does not seem to be a specific forum for the game either.

Anyone bought it?. Worth the hefty price (IMHO) ?.

How is the AI?. (one of the gog reviews seem to suggest the AI is....."passive").

Isnt there also DLC available for this but not being sold here?.

I don't think any DLC has been released yet, excluding an OST that isn't sold on either GOG or Steam.
I keep looking at it, because at first glance, it looks like something I'd be keenly interested in, but the price keeps holding me back. I've been waiting for a sale, but every time one comes up, the discount has been sort of a token decrease.

I'd definitely be interested in what anyone who owns it has to say.
Lmao, the Honest Trailer voiceover.

Jon Bailey has been the Epic Voice Guy long before he started doing Honest Trailers.

Can be, but when I hear that voice I have a hard time keeping a straight face.
yes, been playing it on and off since its launch, very versatile dungeon running 4x type of game. there is a lively community going on on its unofficial discord ( check the steam forum page to find a invitation ). So if you have any questions at all you might find a willing audience on discord ;)

if you are into slow war based complex civ simulations this one will certainly check your .... whatever it checks with you :D
I like it. In my mind it feels like a wargame-focused version of Alpha Centauri, with survivalist elements and some RPG parts. It also makes me think of a sci-fi version of an Illwinter game (the Dominions and Conquest of Elysium series). The atmosphere though, makes me think of Alpha Centauri for some reason, and as an old-school sci-fi enthusiast it captures a lot of what I have been missing in other 4x sci-fi games. It's really the scope and depth you are paying for, most €10-20 indie strategy games you find are quite simplistic compared to what this game is aiming for. And triple-A titles like modern Civilization and Humankind give you pretty graphics and a luxurious presentation, but won't offer the same depth and challenge. It really depends on what you are looking for. Shadow Empire to me is a slow-burn tea-in-the-evening "think box".
