ShadowWulfe: It kind of sucks how with all of these new games the DLCs are never discounted.

Yunnlith: Most DLCs are way too expensive to begin with (for what they have to offer).

The issue is more how most studios abuse the downloadable content concept. Not all DLCs are "bad", but when content are cut out from the game for the sake of it, that's troublesome.
Fallout 4 as a RPG.
Dungeon Keeper 3, (and not War for the Overworld), btw F*ck EA for buying Bullfrog and ditching Dungeon Keeper 3 if I can say so

Knights and Merchants 3
Red Orchestra 3

Battlefield 1944

Day of Defeat 2

I like World War II.

edit:

oh yeah..... Vietcong 3

I think I'm going to name a few common ones or ones already named, but here goes...

No One Lives Forever 3:
Hell, like many of us here, I would even be happy with just a re-release or updated version of the original.

Anachronox 2:
There was a lot of cut content from the original that would have made its way into a sequel (which due to dismal sales never materialized)

SiN 2:
Nothing episodic but an actual full-length game.

Freedom Force 3:
I heard about how the series would have followed the tonal and stylistic trends of the various ages of the comic book medium. It would have been neat to see a gritty age of the Freedom Force world. And that damn cliffhanger.

Daikatana 2:
I'm going to be in a minority, but aside from the "adventures in babysitting" that was managing your AI partners, I would like to see what other time periods Romero would have had us visiting. Like those guys in Pulp Fiction, I think the makers of Daikatana acted with the best of intentions.

LA Noire 2:
I'm a sap for games set in the first half of the 20th century, especially with a noir ambience. LA Noire was a bit clunky, but maybe it could be better the second time around.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments 2:
I think they finally got the formula right this time.

The Wolf Among Us:
I wasn't really sold on Sam and Max, but The Wolf Among Us was my first bite of Telltale goodness.

Ultima IX:
Or better yet, the original version we were promised.
Scarface: The World Is Yours.

It's sort of a forgotten open world game from the Ps2/Original Xbox era but it was really really solid. It had a decent sized open world (about the size of GTA Vice City I would say), solid gameplay and some cool mechanics that were fresh at the time (a dedicated taunt button for one). The story was ended on a positive note but I'm sure a sequel could've been fashioned out of it.

that will be badass
incomplete list:
- Crusader: No Mercy (preferably developed by the people who made the first two parts)
- No One Lives Forever 3
- Star Wars: Tie Fighter 2 / X-Wing 3
- Wing Commander 6
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
- Turrican 4 (made by Marcus Trenz)
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight 3
- Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2
- AvP 3 (by Monolith)
- Severance: Blade of Darkness 2
- Riddick 3
- Dungeon Keeper 3
- Gothic 4
- Independence War 3
- Freespace 3
- Nexus: The Jupiter Incident 2
- Drakensang 3
- Strike Commander 2
- Warlords: Battlecry 4
- Wizardy 9
- Morrowind 2
Anachronox 2 (above anything else! And Anachronox 3, too!)
Condemned 3 (like the 1st one, not the 2nd)
Freespace 3 (let's finally take the war back to those damned Shivans!)
No One Lives Forever 3 ('nuff said)
XIII 2 (another underrated game with a tantalizing cliffhanger)

Heh, and I thought I'd be the only one... I'm among those few persons who had completed Daikatana (multiple times), and I really think that there is a good game hidden below all those awful, annoying stuff (Episode 2-3 contains some of my favorite FPS levels/weapons).
