Do you know what comes from mixing GOGers' generosity, Christmas spirit and some jingly tunes? Of course, another (15th!) edition of GOG’s Secret Santa event!

I'm delighted to host it again this year, and each year brings more wonderful memories. It’s all thanks to you, fellow Santas and Elves - and of course thanks to GOG! Join us in the most festive event, sprinkled with GOG games :-)

If you're not familiar with the idea - here's a great thread by BranjoHello that contains all the Secret Santa previous editions.

Here are the rules, how you can join Secret Santa (shorter version):

• To join: Say "I wish to be a Secret Santa".
• Wishlist: Make it public, post it here, or send it to me privately.
• Gifts: GOG games only. Send me the keys by December 24th. I'll distribute them on Christmas Day.
• Gift-giving only: Say "I wish to be a Secret Elf".
• Backup gifting: Say "I would like to be a Helper Elf".
• Wishlist rule: Once assigned a giftee, don't remove anything from your wishlist.
• Signup deadline: December 17th.
• Optional: Include a note for your giftee.

And the full rules are below; they're the same as last time:

1. If you wish to participate please state "I wish to be a Secret Santa".

2. You will have to either:
a. make your wishlist public,
b. post your wishlist in this thread, or
c. send me your wishlist so I can provide it to your Secret Santa.

3. Please send the keys of the games you purchase to me. I will hold onto them and send them out to your giftee on Christmas Day (December 25th).

4. If you do not wish to receive gifts but would still like to give someone else a gift, please state "I wish to be a Secret Elf".

5. If you do not wish to receive gifts but would like to help out in case someone is unable to purchase the gifts they wanted, please state "I would like to be a Helper Elf".

6. Only GOG gifts please, no Steam, Epic or other source.

7. This is one of the most important things, once you receive a giftee that means everyone has a giftee and you must not remove or buy anything from your wishlist! If there is a game you really want and feel you can't resist buying then don't put it on the list or enter any giveaways for it. You can add to your list all you want, just don't take away from it after I close the registration phase.

8. Signups will be closed around December 17th.

9. Please deliver your gifts to me via PM by December 24th.

10. I encourage you to add an optional note for your giftee - why you chose this/these game(s) to gift above other ones, or just your wishes for Christmas and 2025.

Lastly - please remember, the GOG account you use to purchase a gift will be visible to the recipient (giftee) - if you'd like to remain anonymous, you'd have to create another GOG account for that purpose.

Thank you for the jolt of joy you bring to December, Santa zeffyr! :D Our gracious host is back!

There is a sense of uplifting comfort in this annual tradition. I'm always looking forward to it! :) It's a great way to end the year, sometimes amidst an undercurrent of tough times or devastating news... Makes me happy to mingle with the community and share this fun tradition with you all!

All this bla-bla-bla just to say:

Edit: Simply wanted to state that my wishlist is public. ;) Although my current rig is running on W7, I've decided to include W10 games in my wishlist because I recently purchased an internal SSD with the intent to install Linux over the Holidays to run these more recent games. :P
