"I don't care who is investigated as long as we get that food cart on set"

(And someone to poke Micro to see if he's still amongst the living. o.0)

Good idea.....how do you propose we do that? Look for the stereotypically evil, mustache twirling player, or the ultra good, hand shaking & baby kissing player?
I have no mustache and I never kiss babies, but I do occasionally shake other people's hands. I am not F or H. Also, I never kiss mustaches!

BTW: The grub is cooking on a campfire a few miles away. It's done as soon as it boils over, right?

No kissing babies?!? You MONSTER! ;)

Also as for shaking hands...well as long as your hand isn't the one in pic below then we good. :)

Bob from Bob's Burgers is gonna be upset to hear that....but what about Jimmy Pesto? He has no mustache. o.0

"EVERYONE IS OKAY WITH THIS ARRANGEMENT." Beatrice whirred. "BUT DAWN'S OKAY COMES WITH RESERVATIONS, I GUESS."

"Reservations?" Grimsby suddenly appeared, questioning the bot. "What reservations?"

Beatrice didn't respond, except by printing another sheet of paper, before suddenly falling. One of the technicians on set plugged a strange device with a large screen into the back of her head. The device turned on and threw out a couple lines of text. "Beatrice had a blue screen of death. Well, without the screen." The technician shrugged. "I'll get her back in order."

Nobody spotted Dawn among the crowd. Where'd he go?

Until then...

President JoeSapphire and Chancellor ZFR have entered office with an unanimous yes vote! They are now bound to silence until a policy is passed.

Please wait warmly.

ok, thanks. my hand doesn't have spikes on it, nor is it currently in a chainmail glove, so yeah.

If F is passed, I was wondering...
We are at 4L
an F!chance doesn't dare pass F without outing himself if he was given an L.
Is the same true about H?

And does anyone else find scene's trust of ZFR doubtful? I'm sitting here suspecting Joe Lift Scene & ZFR
Howsomevers, they all four can't be bad in this 8 player game. at least one, maybe all four (doubtful) are L.

Who do we trust most & why?

The fact that all-including the Fs & Hs are voting unanimously for this, thus making it their 2nd consecutive unanimous vote.
Gov 2 was lacking Yes votes from RW & Scene.

NOTE: GR & RW in one combo or another entered with the following votes:
Gov 1 aye except Scene (no); GR+RW
Gov 3 Unanimous; RW+GR
Gov 9 aye except Joe (no) GR-RW.

Joe & ZFR in combo result in
Gov 2 Scene & RW vote agiasnt; Joe+ZFR
Gov 6 Unanimous, ZFR+Joe
Gov 10 (current) Unanimous* Joe+ZFR

The baddies have voted for these govs with 2 unanimous votes for J & Z vs 1 for RW/GR.
This tells me that J or Z is likely F.
Scene voted against 1 & 2. Joe & RW have voted against govs as well.

The thing is with these unanimous govs, if they contain 0 F/H, the Fs are sweating a storm, knowing they will lose, unless luck forces an F!win.

Which means they voted for L govs in confidence that the game wasn't over...bc one of these 4 is F. GR is the only one who knows if he buried.

I'm falling asleep and have more to consider, but while sitting here, I was just dreaming about guys in spacesuits are being moved around by Spy Fox (tm) through little tubes, so I will stop while I can type this.

Again, it's completely irrelevant if GR buried an L or not. Everything that was buried is now back in the pile. That's what 'reshuffle ' means.

That is not dead, which can eternal lie, for with strange eons even discard may die!

As for the voting: I think that we are forcing the hands of the fascists. There was such a strong case for going with these 4 players, that voting no would look off at this point. So even if all were liberal, all the fascists can do is hope for 3F.

That being said, it is still quite likely, that one if these 4 is a fascist. We have 3 fascists (including Hitler) and 7 Liberals. Any group of 4 out of these is quite likely to contain (at least) one fascist. To be precise, the likelihood of at least one F- aligned person in any group of 4 in this game is 83,33%

It was mainly a joke to go with the post above(first bit of post 483).....I kept forgetting to add it, and even though it was silly I still felt determined to add it eventually....know whut I mean? :)

avatar
Microfish_1: Who do we trust most & why?
I say we trust ourselves the most(the ONLY ones we can verify being liberal at the start)....everyone else(including those who pass L policies) should be viewed as possible fascist as well, although some might lean them more towards liberal as a result.

Good for us, then. :)

Yup....also good to see you posting analysis/more "meaty" posts.....tis nice and gives me something to reply to as we await the policy pick. :)

So which do you suspect, if I may ask?
avatar
GameRager: So which do you suspect, if I may ask?
You, because you're the one who might have intentionally passed an F (RW didn't have a choice) or ZFR, who is so liberal that he just might be H.
The two heroes were led to a stupidly low budget set that pretended to be a desert. The backdrop was cartoony, more reminiscent of the Webnar Brothers animations than anything, but they couldn't even bother to cover the concrete ground with a little bit of sand. Soon after, the Captain and Zenefredi encountered a couple guys with guns. It didn't take long for them to punch the group into oblivion.

The group was victorious. Well, except for Zenefredi's cape, which was torn out. "My cape!"

"We're gonna get it fixed, don't wor-" before the Captain would continue, Zenefredi collapsed onto his knees.

"MY CAPE!" he shouted into the sky.

"Wondrous and beautiful!" said the Puzzlemaster. "This is better than Grimsby's-"

"I love it." Grimsby's voice came from behind Zeo.

"What? I thought this was the kind of thing you don't like!"

"I actually do. Dude's lost his cape and cries over it. A great metaphor of our horrible lives." Grimsby walked to the heroes, smiling at them. "And they did it incredibly well."

"Fine, fine." Puzzlemaster huffed. "I demand we see who's your star, Pooka."

"Oh, that's your demand? Sure. I have no idea how it'll help you, but maybe you'll feel better and stop bothering me."

FFF (For Fuck's Fake)

I'm going to investigate zfr or rwarehall.

RWarehall put himself forward for investigation, which I like. So maybe I don't need to investigate RW. But then scene immediately said he's a bad investigation choice which makes me think "Someone doesn't want me to investigate RW?? Maybe there's something here"

I think zfr is PROBABLY liberal and it would be good to have someone we know we can trust. And it would be good to remove doubt.

Can I get everybody's input on this choice?

Argh!! my perfect voting record! This is all your fault! >:C

Either sounds good, so we can have someone we can trust implicitly.

There there, it'll be all right in time....we just need to get that last L policy passed and we're home free. :)

The first secret hitler game we passed 4 liberal policies vs 1 fascist, and managed to lose in a horrible chaotic maelstrom of despair it was exquisitely painful. The second I think we were 3L to 1F when it quite quickly and smoothly turned against our favour and hitler was elected before we knew what had happened.

In my experience this game spends a lot of time with the liberals going "oh yeah this game's easy" and then ends in agony.

This game I think we've managed to avoid some of the mistakes - we've not voted in every president and we seem to have fairly trustworthy people, but still, I can't help feel a slow creeping dread as victory begins to inch further and further away.

Anyway - Could I get you to choose between zfr and rw please? You might not have a preference but could you throw your lot in with one anyway?
I got FF.
