@all: what should we do to pass the time? Is there anything left to talk about? There seem to be two factions in the game now.
Dedo, Brasas, Greek (and maybe Scene) on one side and RW (or replacement), ZFR and adalia on the other. The question is: which of these factions is the fascist faction? Or are some of the fascists hiding in obscurity (kusu, blotunga).

@adalia: I have no clue who Hitler is. I know two players who I feel quite sure are not Hitler (apart from myself of course): Scene and RW. Both have made far too much noise and too many enemies to be Hitler.

Yoooo, wait a minute here. The Greek doesn't belong in factions. The Greek fights for democracy.

If you are sure Scene/RW aren't Hitler, we can use them as chancellors if the score goes 4-3. My first preference would be Scene in this case. I don't want to have any big disagreement with you since you are trusted, so I will follow either way. Myself I have no idea about who Hitler is.

And something for those who accuse me. Can you tell us one of my actions that says Hitler but not liberal? No, you can't. All of them can be interpreted both ways and I think I have been very consistent since the beginning of the game. So you are just presenting scenarios that are convenient for your interests.

I second this. I feel like getting that final policy home and winning the game already. We are at the finish line but instead of doing one last push we're just hanging around and things are getting stale. I'm personally out of gas - I feel whatever points that could have been made were made so now we just need to get things moving and work with whatever result we get once we get it (if that's even needed). At this point I'm looking forward more towards wrapping the game up rather than the actual win. Fortunately both seem to be theoretically the same thing so even better.

I hope there is a resolution of RW's situation but I'm concerned that finding a replacement is not going to be that easy seeing how hard we got adalia.

Then I'll just have to fire up my multiple personality and play both me and the replacement of RW. I promise not to tell myself anything! ;-)

General Warehall stands up and puts on his hat.
"Gen'lemen, I do believe the air in here has gotten more than a bit warm for my likin'. If y'all don't mind, I'll be fixin' to leave."
"VHAT?!" yells the Puzzlemaster, jumping up from his seat. "VHAT DO YOU ZINK YOU ARE DOING?!"
"I'm just gonna be makin' my merry way on outta here, fella."
"YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYVHERE!"
The Puzzlemaster jumps on the table in an attempt to make himself taller and screams at the Southern gentleman, taking off his hat and waving it around to accentuate his yells.
"QUIT ZE GRIPING! UND ZE VHINING! UND PASS! VERDAMMT! POLICIES!"
In response to this display, the General lightly pushes the bottom of his coat to the side to reveal a pearl-handled Colt .45.
"Oh. Vhell, you did not say you had a license. You are free to go, Herr Varehall."

"Hey!" cries Bookwyrm as Warehall leaves the room. "What are we supposed to do now? We're down a council member! We can't continue like this!"
"Nor will you have to, my fine-topped friend."
The council turns to look at the regal figure who has made her entrance. Handing one of the soldiers her gold-rimmed walking cane and placing her hands into a delicate muff, she takes the seat previously occupied by General Warehall.
"Do we need an introduction? Very well. I am the Countess von Frikkifir of the French noblety. I arrived here as quickly as I could, but alas, my train ran a bit late. Now, are we ready, or will the council prefer to gape a while longer?"


RWarehall has been replaced by ashwald.

But that's the point.
There is really no way to know if you are a lucky liberal who has done well or a well played Hitler who has made the best of a bad draw.
Until you play the last L or are elected as chancellor after 3F and we win or lose.

The main thing that pings me is your insistence to be in every government, particularly after having passed an F policy. There are 5 other liberals out there (assuming you are liberal) and all we need is two of them in government when an L turns up (which is fairly likely to happen next government if we pass 3F with this one, again assuming you didn't bury one and neither does Lift).
So why should you be chancellor? And you're insistent on being chancellor, not president. Despite it being easier for a fascist president to hide 1 L and not cause a conflict (whereas if you passed 1L and 1F to a fascist as president they would have to cause a conflict) if we choose the wrong president.

That's the big red flag for me.

Though to be honest it may not even be a problem. Even if Brasas or dedo is fascist and chancellor if Lift draws 2L there's nothing they can do and it's game over. If he draws one L all we need is for his chancellor to be liberal (hence why I'd like the job) and we're guaranteed the win, and the odds are pretty high of getting that 1 L.



Also according to the first page ashwald is replacing RWarehall, so I assume he is out of the game.

As always you chose to comment to what suits you and that's the big red flag for me, fair? Why didn't you comment on the other paragraph? Lift said Scene and RW are not Hitler and I reply that I will accept to use them as Chancellors if a 3rd F passes. What do you say to that? Any preference you have?

Well you did address me (pretty much), so I answered. To be honest I feel pretty much as dedo does and have lost most of my interest in the game as it's dragged on so much. Hence I'm mostly posting if I a question is directly aimed at me.

Happy with RWarehall, not with scene. If you're not Hitler then he's a strong fascist lean for me. But if we go to 3F I'm not happy with you as president either (as it suggests one of you or Lift may have buried an L).

If Scene were Hitler, wouldn't he pass FL to RW to gain more trust?

I don't see scene as Hitler, just fascist. I did suspect he might have been earlier, but I agree with Lift now, he's created too much of a fuss to be Hitler.
And yes, he probably would have (and also to test RW to see if he was fascist). I think we can safely assume he didn't draw 3L so his play makes no sense as Hitler.

Hi guys, I haven't posted in a few days due to being locked up in a prison cell over the weekend due to viscous lies of a a viscious fascist also known as my girlfriend. Absolute horrible experience.

I thought you would have discussed whether we'd be best going with Scene of Lift's Presidency next. We have a choice of:

Scene-Brasas (I don't think there is another credible choice in my presidency, but what say you?)

Or skip Scene Presidency and:

Lift-Scene (I think this is most proven)
Lift-Brasas (also quite proven)

Then I suggest either:

Scene chooses Lift or

Lift chooses either:

Brasas or
Greek or
Scene

*In the event a liberal policy does not pass

These are all logical suggestions, I just think brasas is more proven than you since he passed me the 4th L so the biggest chance to finish the game now is by the Lift-brasas pair.
There are two important issues and I can't find a way to cover both of them.
1. We have to avoid a Hitler chancellor .
2. We need to have trusted info on the draw. That's why I had the idea to give Lift 2 consecutive presidencies after you.
And something I just came up with. If you are president now with brasas, I can be president next with Lift chancellor agsin.
