Why? With the exception of a few tremendously buggy games like Lure of the Temptress, which I'm unaware of whether there have been bugfixes or not, there is a bigger risk of regressions being introduced into the codebase for existing games than there are potential benefits.

Are you saying that because 1.9.0 is new and still has problems or is gog updating the software themselves likely to cause issues?

I was just suggesting that because it would be convenient to have the latest version (I'm new to this stuff so I wasn't aware it might cause problems).
