I noticed that once again my wishlist on the site was missing an item compared to my local wishlist. I tracked it down to Scorn - Deluxe Edition which is now gone for who knows what reason.

Apart from how irritating it is to have my wishlist changed without warning, I also couldn't find any delisting announcement. It's really poor form to just yank games from the store without letting anyone know, unless this is actually an error of some kind.
It seems to be gone on Steam too, without announcement.

Glad I got it when I did. That being said, if/when it returns, how much do you wanna bet that it will be marked as "not owned" for me on GOG's broken store front lol?

Sounds like it was done by the publisher then. Maybe Giger's estate didn't get their cut?

Still though, GOG should give everyone a 2 hour announcement before delisting stuff.

Ah, that's what missing. Was already questioning my sanity because I thought my wishlist count was one higher.

Probably licensing issues with some of the bonus content.

That seems to be the issue. The stock game is still on both GOG and Steam.

I actually noticed that my 'wish list' suddenly got smaller and I couldn't figure out why. I'm guess this is what happened.
I never had any interest in the game but I heard a lot of people didn't like it because it's maybe only 4 to 5 hours long and sort of boring...
A lot of people were hoping for a creepy shooter with RPG aspects but instead it's a walking simulator type adventure game. But with combat elelments. I think it's good at what it does when it's understood properly. It's a celebration of Gigers art style.
Nooo! I didn't (and still kinda don't) have funds for it at the time, but I had full intention to pick it up over the next few months. :(
Fingers crossed it comes back. I really wanted that art book!
I wouldn't buy this game without its artbook.
I hope it is restored soon.
However, I'm always pissed when an edition on my wishlist is removed without any announcement.

I liked it. It's not perfect, but it's still enjoyable. Also you get this game for the visuals, not so much for the gameplay. Glad i pre-ordered mine on GOG and got the DRM-Free art book.

I will say the visuals of the game are stunning. It has an H. R. Giger feeling to it, which was very appealing for the Alien movies. Glad you enjoyed the game...
The Deluxe Edition is back.

Aaaaand they botched the art book. They replaced the convenient pdf with two significantly compressed ebooks (mobi and epub), which are also formatted with one page at a time, thus breaking many multi-page drawing in half. The original pdf has two pages "per page".

I also cannot find a way to zoom, depending on the e book reader it either only zooms the text or doesn't zoom at all. Maybe it;s user error, but this doesn't make it better. Thankfully I pre-ordered the game and downloaded the artbook on launch day.

Sigh, neither Steam nor GOG care about our libraries. The only library that I can trust is my own HDD.
