Adult Swim Announces New Season Of Samurai Jack With Genndy Tartakovsky

Forget "Hey Arnold", arguably the best show on Cartoon Network "Samurai Jack" will be back on air with a new Season next year. After all these years we will finally get to see the conclusion to the story of a Samurai trapped in time trying to reach home. I can't wait for this and am really happy to see another great fan favorite series resurrected with the original creator Genndy Tartakovsky at the helm. :D
Good. The ending was weird and sudden. Need muh closure.
So I had only ever seen a few episodes, perhaps now is the time to actually watch the whole thing. I've only heard positive comments.
yea finally, aku aku
I guess it's good, since I understand it never had a proper ending, but personally I was never a big fan, so I doubt if I'll ever see the new stuff. It's not that I think it was a bad show, I just don't think it was quite as good as many people say.

Ah well, maybe with so many shows coming back we might yet see Kim Possible return in some form. Now that I'd love to see. And I need something to fill the hole the end of Gravity Falls will leave.

It was certainly a lot better then Kim Possible, IMO ofcourse. ;)
Jack will be back. Great! Thnx for the highlight, stg83! :D

REDVWIN
Great news. Samurai Jack was one of the most memorable cartoons back in the days when CN didn't sucked.

Matter of taste. Kim Possible was much more of a comedy, so it's up to your sense of humor, the most subjective of all things. But I also liked the characters a lot more, flawed, funny, and developing. Jack was always... just Jack. Rather bland hero, and going through no changes. But mostly it's probably about the backround. Samurai Jack draws inspiration mostly from anime and samurai films, neither of which I like at all. Kim Possible is a parody of the superhero genre, sci-fi stories and action movies. All stuff I like, so I "get" the show, the way I never "got" Jack.

I remember watching some episodes of this. I'd definitely watch the full series.

You clearly never watched the show if you think Jack is Bland.

"Flawed"

One episode was him overcoming his ANGER.

"Funny"

So many examples I do not know where to start.

"Developing"

The WHOLE FIRST EPISODE OF HIS TRAINING WITH VARIOUS WARRIOR CULTURES ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!

No foolin? That's the best news I've heard all year!

I think I'll go and watch the ending of Jack and Bountyhunters again to celebrate!

That's great news. Nothing but fond memories for Samurai Jack. The animation style and humorous moments of the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon (2003-2005) reminded me a lot of that show. I really enjoyed Jack’s relationship with The Scotsman.

Excellent! And of course it's made even more awesome if you watch the entire episode, which shows the planning that went into that attack. A feeble attempt to combine the strengths of each bounty hunter after the princess told that individually they stood no chance. I can't think of a better episode.
