Cant beleive Russian's best game Sudden Strike? Sure, Heroes of Might and Magic is pretty fun but so damn old.

The Men of War series is actually a Ukrainian/German co-development and not of Russian origin, as far as I know.

Please judge the book not by its cover, folks. Well, OK. I can put it in the other if you think that's more correct. Except "Men of War: Vietnam," this one is developed by "1C Company" itself. Is "Men of War" not Russia's origin? Partially it is.

On the others, let me explain how & why it got here in the 1st place, for clarity. "1C Company" AKA "Fulqrum Publishing" (its US alias) is Russia's publisher, the publisher receives the money. In case of several companies involved, only the two countries to be highlighted, beyond aren't for the list: One of the developers is "Best Way," not from Germany, its current location is, let say, "not very clear these uncertain days." I have not heard of the developers moving onto another place. Most likely the company stopped to exist somewhere along "the days" for "reasons unknown." I may speculate it got absorbed into "1C Company" in some way. What is clear is the next, and that's why it ended up here.

The latest "Best Way" project in 2020 was on the now dead ".ru" domain, all under Russia's "1C Online Games Ltd.," written in Russian, no Ukrainian version. Because the company is no more, most likely all the money go to "1C Company." So, that's why was put into: The location, the connections, and, ultimately, the end owner. This is up to debate what to do with it, of course. In the end the publisher is Russia's, anyway, no matter what to think of it.

Sucks for all the talanted devs in Russia with their leader screwing them out of their due. There are a lot of games I love from Russia.

In my view this should be GOG's task in the 1st place, not mine, every developer/publisher should be tagged and re-tagged on changes by someone independent. What if somebody wants to support local developers in, I don't know, Argentina? People should have choice. Isn't it??? A good idea to use my list as a clue, not the ultimate resolution; The way how one uses is their own, I won't judge, nor I can really.

I probably wouldn't update it further (looking at the sheet makes me sick, figuratively speaking) nor plan to actively participate on the forum. Hopefully I did catch all the main fish. What for? My personal reason why the list exist was to freeze updates for all atrisks, I want no "unintended" changes, of any kind. Shockingly simple, I know.
