I'm trying to launch Rimworld on Ubuntu linux. I run ./start.sh , and following error occurs :

Trying starting it with the option "-logfile" . That doesn't seem to take an argument, instead it dumps to /tmp/rimworld_log_USERID.

Ah just seen your other thread. Mentioning that your graphics card is (IIUC) the integrated graphics of a 2010 CPU would be helpful. Looks like it's one generation older than the minimum spec for RimWorld; the store page says it needs at least an HD Graphics 3000, and that next generation included an major version upgrade of OpenGL.

A bit late, but I like to chime in: As octalot stated, Rimworld had an overhaul at some point. TL,DR: some older version of RImworld would work, if anyone 'd be interested to play it (I play A16 from time to time, cause i like the marsx-Mod)
