Reality struck me

Forget fair use for my family, playing different games at the same time
Obviously pubs don't care, so what if valve's blocks their games
Other options are the such as a Steam Emulator

You know, I was close to cutting and running. My reason was and still is because developers here leave their games unattended for an unfair amount of time, or they just tell their GOG base to 'get fucked' all together.

I saw great games (AAA) going to Steam only and initially it bothered me. However, upon watching videos, listening to objective opinions, and even trying the game out using a 5-finger discount, I found the games were really disappointing. The ONLY title I had enjoyed using this method was Payday 2 (who wouldn't steal that game with the cascade of Paradox+++ level DLC). I wasn't missing anything at all.

At least I know that being here, I won't be flooded with 80+ releases of total SHIT on a daily basis. Sure the curation here is questionable at times, but that can comfortably be chalked up to individual opinion as opposed to Steam's store.

Tl;dr and to cut a rant short - I miss nothing by not ever using Steam, Origin, or Uplay.

strange, I have decided today to the exact opposite. i have deleted all my account on all other game stores, and will from now only buy on gOg. I don't need their games anyway.

Ok then! I leave GOG too! Just deleted all my GOG games from my hard drive, and from now on I will only play Team Fortress 2 on Steam!
