GOG needs to remove and or replace reCaptcha. For example I just had to undertake an expidition to switch from one account to another and then back again. The whole trip took 52 minutes and 413 separate puzzles.

The problem is that the purpose of recaptcha is to deter computerized attempts at access yet it is clear they use computers to design the puzzles. Countless puzzles were failed because a human can see a tiny corner of a traffic light, a cross walk , a chimney in the image. The computer that designs it however does not consider that a part. Meaning it you answer the puzzle correctly your answer can be treated as if it were wrong. Other times it will throw such low resolution grainy images at you that you cant actually make out the tiny pixel and a half of a bus that it is asking you for.

Further compounding this issues is if you "fail" the recaptcha puzzles too many times but end up finally getting past it, GOG will see those fails and consider your login attempt invalid.

captchas are not an effective tools to begin with. recaptcha is by far and away the worst captcha system I have ever encountered. Not surprising from freeware, but this is epic level dysfunctional software.

So Please fix this issue and get rid of this ridiculous speed bump that is not doing its job and all it is doing is creating undue frustration that should not exist.
No idea why you have multiple accounts, but I can understand a captcha for that. Especially if there's no delay between logging out 1 and logging in to the other account.

Captchas were gone for a while for me, but they've returned today. 2 logins today, captchas on both.
As for the annoying things with them, you forgot to mention the one where a picture doesn't reload and leaves you with a grey or black picture.
If you disable the two step login under the Security section of your settings (on both accounts) you'll probably find that you don't have to deal with the CAPTCHAs so much.
I do appreciate the helpful nature exhibited here. Thank you for the positive suggestions.

As for disabling two factor, My prime account is disabled, the new secondary one had not yet been disabled. Thing is reCaptcha is not a part of two factor verification.

As for multiple accounts, Having them really should not make a difference. Specifically I have a secondary account so I can have one logged in on one of two PCs set up for games so that I can have friends over, let them log into secondary account and quickly play multiplayer games as opposed to them in may cases having to create an account, log in, buy the game in question that may or may not be on sale at the time they are there to play it. Then download and install that copy. To me that feels like a fairly legitimate reason to have a secondary account even if others may not have the same practical use for one.

You are correct on the grey/black out image. I have also gotten scripting errors that none of the images load.

I could forgive captchas. All of them are annoying and their effectiveness is debatable. However it is recaptcha that is the problem here as it is from my understanding freeware and as such you get what you pay for.

I get the desire for security. I worked in Network admin & IT for over a decade. I know that captchas serve little function. But if it makes people FEEL more secure that is fine. The problem is not the captcha, the problem is having this broken down of one riddled with known issues that is the problem and that is a problem that is completely avoidable.
