I've created a new wish in wishlist for feature (for Galaxy) allowing to play remotely with other Galaxy users in local multiplayer. I admit that at this moment I'm not very regular user of Galaxy, but such feature would surely make me more convinced to have it installed permanently.

Plenty of older games have only local multiplayer, possibility to play in them with others via Internet could be a really nice thing. What do you think? If you're positive, feel free to vote ;)

Just a tiny "bump" for thread - any thoughts about this concept? Do you like it/not?

You could probably do this with Moonlight. I've used it to stream games to other PCs and even my phone (for stereoscopic films with a Cardboard-style headset), though I haven't tried it for multiplayer gaming.

Search around, somebody else has likely already attempted this.
