Straight from Akupara, Zoeti is now available on GOG, and with a -10% launch discount! The offer ends on April 27th, 4 PM UTC.

Zoeti is a turn-based roguelite game with deck-building elements, where you use your cards to create combos and activate skills in the heat of a battle. You’ll find yourself in a once peaceful land, now overrun by monsters – as a Star-Soul here, you’ll be selected among a few blessed who are strong enough to raze the land of evil. Bolster your arsenal of skills through battles, discoverable upgrades, or aid from the locals to enhance your plays – all that, to overcome the evil plaguing your land!

Now on GOG!

Always somebody with the lame "dynamic language""get with the times" argument. Maybe I'd at least grant you the "I know what it means" point if any of the games gog tags as roguelike had anything in common other than being video games sold on gog. This is why I usually don't bother posting on "roguelike" threads any more to correct the usage of the term (I guess I was in a weird mood this morning to make this exception). This battle was fought (and lost) on a video game platform I did not even participate in (mobile games wanting to sell their random crap by associating themselves with then-popular roguelikes) before I even became aware of it. Maybe I wouldn't be so adamant about it if it weren't that I actually liked roguelikes and that the term was stolen by marketing people who didn't even know what it meant, and is now defended by people who should (and in many cases, probably do) know better.

Like I said, this problem has little to do with the genre names and more with the random tags on GOG in particular. I'm sure the same could be said for any genre on GOG. I have a good idea what the tags should mean but not why GOG put them on random games that don't fit this definition. ;P

Leroux: That looks like it could be a character in a children's TV show. Or Mystery Science Theater 3000. ;)
Definitely. :)

Wasn't there actually some kids show, where such an old phone was part of?
Teletubbies, maybe? Blue's Clues?

It's too long ago, since my son was so young, so I don't really remember.

Edit: it was the Teletubbies...just not a phone. XD
