Lucian_Galca: One last sale on Ys 8 before the price raise! YES! Phew, I thought I screwed up not grabbing it during the Summer Sale.
Price raise? What do you mean?

EDIT: Though it is not yet clear whether GoG will be affected as well as it is not mentioned in the article.

Game has gotten overall positive reviews landing in the 80's so that's good to see.
high rated
Why the hell is the base price $60 here in Mexico? I know NISA's desperate to make money, but at what cost?
Awesome!
Cannot wait to play ^^
low rated
Screw the price complaints I have money (sorry to those less well off). What I want to know is if, or rather how have they butchered the "localization". Which cunts have been working on it?

SmollestLight: Thanks for letting us know about the regional pricing, we will look into it!
There are also no regional prices for Russia and the CIS.

Moreover, the regional prices for all games published by NIS America, Inc. were removed a couple of days ago without any announcement.

Kideachi: Regional pricing is not wrong, NISA removed it for all of their games on GOG a few days ago.
I get prices like $12.17, $78.94 or $27.41.

That doesn't look like they removed all regional pricing.
Nice I was waiting for this one! Thanks GOG and NISA for this amazing Day one release! :D

With that said, I hope the regional prices are fixed soon...
GOG, why is there such a high price difference between steam and GOG for this game in Brazil. I was going to buy it day one here, but it is just R$ 113 on steam and Epic store and more than R$ 300 on GOG, for the same version of the game.

Is this right? Why the other storefronts can sell it for much cheaper?

Could you look into it? I really want to buy it on GOG, but I wish I wouldn't have to wait 2 years for a fair price.

Thanks
I looked at the Steam forum and there's a lot of complaining about regional pricing there also.
So how's the stability compared to VIII on release?

Also are all the environments as dull and grey as they look in the trailer?

This port was handled by Durante from the get go. Therefore it runs like a charm.
You could take the steam demo for a spin if you need further convincing.

Afraid i cannot answer your 2nd question just yet.

Just to echo what Hikage1983 said - You definitely won't be disappointed with the PC port. There was a lot of care that went into. You might find this post by Durante on Steam interesting.

I also can't answer your second question. I would probably lean towards "no" on ALL environments being that way, but I can't say for sure. Obviously it's not going to be anything like Ys VIII in it's aesthetics.
