Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Vikings - Wolves of Midgard, a brutal action-RPG drenched in the bloody Norse mythology, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com!

When the Gods do battle, all us mortals can do is hope that the least cruel one will emerge the victor. But not the proud Viking warriors of the Ulfung clan - no, they are determined to interfere. Sacrificing your enemies' blood to the Gods will give your warrior or shieldmaiden incredible powers, powers they need to survive this cold, unforgiving land, and slay the rampaging giants.

HunchBluntley: I guess that means that everyone running Windows 7, 8 or 10 can automatically run it. :P
Hehe, nice one :)
low rated
Wow, the damn unfair pricing! 7+€ more!

Yeah, f 'em very much! XP

They can keep their diablo clone. :P
Hmm, seems a lot of the 'reviews' are PC elitist complaints about strange controls and 'it's not _insert game here_'

watching a fair bit of gameplay, it has improved from the early look 8 months ago quite a bit. To call it a Diablo clone is stupid, as this is nothing of the sort. It's an ARPG with skill based play. You have control of dodging for one, and your attacks are actually aimed. Sure, it is easier with a controller but so are many other bloody games.

edit: of course, it isn't as refined as it could be but it's not awful.

Nice Release ^_^
The persons on the cover don't wear helmets with horns. So, they are no vikings. :p

On the contrary, vikings never wore horned helmets in battle (based on helmets found thus far)
The people that did (likely only for ceremonial purposes) predated the vikings. They were made from bronze, which is quite brittle, hence not suitable for battle conditions.

Yes, I did notice the ":-P", but I just jumped at the chance to use some of the knowledge I gained while studying Swedish Language and Culture at the University.

Yeah, it was only a joke I made because of several discussions according this theme before. Especially in the reviews HERE. ;)
Trailer is nice and looks interesting game but i have 6 action-RPG games and 10 RPG games incomplete. So I have to postpone the purchase of this game.

Generally, Norse mythology is interesting topic for reading!
Interesting, yet a bit overpriced for what it brings to the table I think.
So what's the best Viking themed game on GOG since most of them have mixed reviews including this one.
