kdgog: Looks good but I use Win7 dual boot with Linux so will just stick to the original (which I own but haven't played).
Apparently they are planning to release a version for Linux soon-ish - they said so in a Forum post. Plus, I suspect this version should still run with Win7 even if it is not listed, given that it is still the same engine, most likely even the same binaries. I haven't tried though.

Given that both are more or less the same game, this may also mean that perhaps the original Vaporum might get a release for Linux as well? There is hope! Anyway, we might just have to wait and see what happens.

The original Vaporum, I can definitely recommend. If Grimrock was your cup of tea, you will most definitely enjoy this one as well. The classes and skills are rather unique and provide some replay value - just to try and see what you can do with them.
Win 8+...seems i have to decide if i change Win7 to linux or give up the PC entirly...
Books&Xbox maybe :)

Crosmando: I can't say I really like Dungeon Master likes (ie square dancing simulators) but hopefullly in the future the devs make a turn-based blobber.
I seem to remember there being an announcement that they added a turn based option to the first game, so I'd assume this one includes that from the get-go? Unless I'm thinking of a different game...

Looks great, wishlisted for the moment, am curious to see how much it differentiates itself but in any case it seems good to support this developer/type of game being made/being brought here. Glad to see dungeon crawlers like this on GOG.

The original already has a Linux version :-)

Recommended system requirements:
System:
Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04 or newer (64-bit)
Processor:
3.5 Ghz Intel® i5 or AMD equivalent
Memory:
6 GB RAM
Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2 GB video card or AMD equivalent

I loved Grimrock and the sequel. Then again, I still play Dungeon Master every so often (one of my favourite Amiga games).

Linux...finally!!!
Thank you :)
This is an instance where people should vote with their wallets. The fans wanted Linux builds, the developers deliver and should be rewarded for it.

Thanks for the update!
Linux gamers, rejoice! :)
Thank you for Linux support.
GOG started to announce Linux and Mac releases? Color me impressed!
And thanks for release to developers and GOG.
The new release is about 1/3 cheaper than the old game? That is an interesting approach.

And where's the discounted Vaporum Loyalty Bundle Gog ?
Bravo GOG, this is how it's done. Announcing the availability of additional platforms to an already released game makes it more visible to customers looking forward to them.
