Under the Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game about the engulfing power of grief – and it’s now available on GOG with a -50% launch discount until July 24th, 1 PM UTC!

Set in the depths of the North Sea in a techno-futuristic 1970s, professional diver Stan is struggling to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future. The isolation of the deep sea is a fitting manifestation of his state of mind, and as Stan retreads further into his self-imposed solitude, he starts to experience strange events far beneath the waves. He will eventually have to make a difficult choice...

Now on GOG!
Nice to see this game release here finally!

Thank you guys!
"The Abyss" - the game.
(going by the trailer)
This looks really good. Anything I'm missing about it? What game compares to it.
The engulfing power of grief?

If I wanna experience that, all I need to do is read about our impending political cycle....

I was really hoping for something more in the spirit of Endless Ocean 2 and not "Video Games are not your therapist".

dnovraD: I was really hoping for something more in the spirit of Endless Ocean [1 and] 2...
That would indeed be a welcome addition to the catalogue.
Thank you for the release. Please release the soundtrack too.
Adventure, action and exploration - I love it!
The game looks good, the dark setting immerses me in the plot. On the wish list. I think, since 2019 I see more games of this genre or this style on the market and on GOG. Cool.
"The engulfing power of grief"

gosh, what a damper. :-/
"Under the Wave"

I hope there is no lobster that constantly sings: "Under the Sea..."
