HunchBluntley: I know you've got the manual from that Steam link, but did you check the game's install folder? Sometimes even games that don't have a manual available for separate download as a "bonus goodie" still have the manual packed with the installation; in such cases, there's usually a Start menu shortcut created for it, too.

SpiderFighter: Thanks! I feel pretty stupid that I didn't think to check this. unfortunately, there isn't a pdf or start menu link, but there is a pretty ridiculous html "guide" nested in the folders (that contains over 300 files and really does look like it came from the 90s). I'm actually pretty surprised at the disorganization and lack of care in this respect, because it seems like such a carefully considered, well crafted game.

EDIT: It's not a deal breaker by any means, just something people should be aware of.
Hey, could you please quickly confirm if the "guide" found in folder is the same as the one found here?

It actually looks different, and uses frames (see link below). I haven't checked to see if the content is identical.

Thank you. Judging by the menu on left I'd say the content is very similar, if not identical. I'll remove it from my "missing manuals thread".

eiii: A high rated strategy game and it even looks good. But sadly it once again comes without Linux support. Disappointing. I will wait for a much higher discount before I go to try it out on Wine. The additional sale of strategy games is nice, though.
The devs did say that they will provide a Linux port later. Whatever later means nobody knows.

That's good to hear. Hopefully it does not end as another game where a Linux version has been planned, but never been realized.

Thanks for taking that over, btw. Life got busy for me and, before I knew it, there were just too many games that had been added to Gog, for me to keep up. Cheers!
Mac version is terrible does not even work crashes immediately
