RyaReisender: How dialogue heavy is this game on a scale from 1 (pure dungeon crawler) to 10 (read for hours then one battle)?
avatar
Hickory: Probably about 3 or 4. You get cut-scenes from time to time, but most of the game is spent wandering around the levels fighting and solving puzzles. Your aim is to get to the very lowest level of the tower and it gets progressively harder. Note that because of the puzzles, it's always good to read things along the way.
Thanks for the reply! Sounds perfect for me.
This looks niiiiice, and has Linux support straight out of the box. Wishlisted for the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if I just end up going for it before the week is quite over!
It's nice to see Linux with support from day 1 (and even ahead of OSX).

+1.
Very nice to see this one here. I saw it on Steam a while ago, but held off on buying it for the gog version. I'm glad I waited.

This should be the default, because; fuck apple/macs they're nothing but overpriced glorified iPhones...

(But not the users!)
This game was an instabuy. Literally I went to GOG.com, saw it was listed for sale, saw it was a big roleplaying game (with pleasing graphics, to boot), said "yes, please!", and purchased. Please more indies like this!
Cool, real time with pause. Instawishlisted as I don't have time for it anyway in the near future.

I just noticed something strange...I was looking for this release thread in the General Discussion, and couldn't find it.
So I looked at the "discussions I have participated" instead, and there I found it...and the reason why I couldn't find it regularily - the release date is set a week prior to its actually release. (see attachment)

GOG what are you doing?
During the last few weeks you really mess things up (more as usual). ;o)

I love rpg but i'll wait till a 2d RPG arrives, 3d is nothing for me , doesnt work.
Sofar nice new releases but nothing fits sofar... i'll sit this one and the others out...
I fired up this game today, great presentation so far and the story looks solid. When you meet an enemy the scene changes in a similar way to jRPG's.

This game is a real labor of love.
linux check, RPG check, price reasonable ... buying...

Oh wait, it seems to have also positive ratings, even better. :)
I think this thread is broken.
Very good game. Bought on a whim and don't regret it.
