To the Stars, a fast-paced, whimsical and tactical planet-hopping game, is now available on GOG with a -20% discount!

Build spaceships planetside and launch skywards - conquer enemy territory and race to be the first to reactivate derelict monuments. Activate the monuments in each sector to control your constellation. When you control the constellations, you control the galaxy!

Check it out!
This one tries to things differently. Interesting!

- Let's make a strange, original game that will immediately intrigue people with how unique it seems.
- Ok, but can we also make it immediately tedious, tired and boring?
- Sure! >slaps a roguelike tag on it<
The gameplay looks absolutely crazy and mind-boggling... yet somehow charming.
Extra points for the space theme and cats.
I've had this game wishlisted long time ago, I played the demo and I enjoyed it. I'm waiting to see some gameplays, if I like what I see I'll purchase here in GOG. My #1 priorities are short runs and replay value
Oh! I love the art on this one. Quite interesting games have been launching here and I'm all for it.
GOG and/or devs: the brief videos that are supposed to appear on the game page are completely blank with Firefox on Arch Linux (not an autoplay issue and I tried with a new profile). Looking at the media info page shows "no video with supported format and MIME type found." on this video, which is mp4 and so the mime type is fine but it might be due to the MPEG-4 format profile (muxer as ffmpeg seems to call it) being ISML (IIS Smooth Streaming). For two others I looked at that work mediainfo reported the MPEG-4 format profile as Base Media. The downloaded video works fine in mpv and it looks like Firefox and mpv both use ffmpeg so I'm not sure why it doesn't work in Firefox.

Nope. What's tedious, tired, and boring is constantly whinging about roguelike games.

Anyway, reminds me a lot of Galcon, except...more.
Looks to weird for me, not interested.
That art style is revolting.
The art is too ugly to even bother.
Wishlisting for the Devote Meowists.
Reminds me of an old (and really fun) game for some reason. Maybe it's the "whimsical"-looking planets, which Spaceward Ho also had (but different ofc).

It reminded me a lot of Slipways. That too approached something typically 4X in a much smaller, quick-to-play way which turned out to be surprisingly good at scratching that itch.

To the Stars plays rather differently and while this is probably not something you will play for hours without end, so far I would consider it a decent choice for quick game when you need the distraction.

Now that's an interesting game. I need to read some reviews though. Wishlisted.
