Survival Horror games often have impractical costume options. At this point it's part of the genre.

to stay true to the source material? you do know that almost all RE games have unlockable costumes and bonus characters? the main difference is that in those they are unlockables, but here they are DLC's, but I guess thatt's modern gaming for you.
