WIll this require the newest patch because then my mods will not work and there will be a shit load of work to do before even getting into the game :(

PLAYING IT NOW! I don't think you would ever want to leave the area... it is that damn good and story so far after fighting the giant dude is Great.

And you can start a new game just on this new expansion like the other one :D!

it starts you off at level 34 with 20000 and a bunch of runes and items for crafting.

It runs on 1.21 so :/ you might need to think on dropping some mods to try this man

or you can make a second witcher 3 game file folder with the updates and start the game right from the new expansion to save all the bullshit time.

Picture is attached showing new area and castle that looks cool.

Yes, this expansion brings tons of cool new stuff that require the latest patch for the base game to be installed. The changes are totally worth it, though :)

I've got nothing against TW3 or anything - far from it - but I hope that means we'll soon stop seeing those stupid random threads popping up in the forum asking about "Why this game crash?", "This game hangs in install" and "Galaxy sucks!" (Why, yes, yes, it does! =P) while never mentioning the actual game or any noteworthy details.

LOL i found out overclocked ram causes crashes and if you delete the dll for dx11 and dx9 if also fixed crashing and same with galaxy but eh people have issues but that's why they made a sub forum for it :P

Started downloading since an hour ago, still not finished yet... At last, the game is complete and i can start burning inside it! First time in my gaming career that i actually betrayed my principles and preordered, both for main game and expansion pass and guess what? Not only i didn't regret it but i loved it, too! Thanks GOG, i mean, CDPR, for this masterpiece! It was well worth the wait, the price, the hype, everything!

My one and only complaint is, you know what already, you didn't provide us with a free strategy guide as with BOTH previous games, *sigh*... Is there any chance?

RESOLVED: Uninstalled - reinstalled Gog Galaxy. Downloading B&W now.

Just purchased the Blood & Wine Expansion Pack, but I'm having no luck getting it downloaded/installed.

Updates set to automatic.

Manual attempts at "Extra downloads," under "DLCS INSTALLERS," "Blood and Wine - 7GB" get me nowhere. Here is an exact transcription of the error message pop-up I get:

The failed: server problem

Changelog lists Patch 1.21 (May 30, 2016), but without any mention of Blood & Wine.

Under "Installed," 2 DLC are listed: Free (16 DLC) and Hearts of Stone.

"SERVER PROBLEM RETRY" showing up, after "verify/repair" attempt. Retry, restart, retry... Nada.

Willing to assume that the server is busy and will try again later, but this sucks.

Update: server connection good enough to allow me to post this comment, but still no download/install success.
