BreOl72: You got a receipt after the automated addition?
avatar
RostislavLA: I haven't been to the site since 29th March, so I went to see who could hack me if I have 2fa and if there's forum thread about it.

Email read: "Thank you for supporting our idea of making games last forever by purchasing from us." So I was like "purchase? I didn't purchase anything!"
Well, that's not a receipt. ;-)

Edit: attached my receipt (received AFTER I checked out the REDkit as a gift - which is another mystery).

moonshineshadow: Adding stuff to my account is not ok!
And no, I did not have it on my wishlist.
I have the free purchase option, but no thing has been added to my account, and I have the game on my wishlist. Weird, do they add you a purchase ticket?
Can confirm that nothing changed for me in the subscriptions. Everything is still off.

Interestingly I did not get a purchase mail, but it is in my order section with order number etc.

Cool stuff! For some reason I thought that the builder was always included with the game, but guess I was wrong. Maybe I mixed that up with the first Witcher which used that Aurora thing which was a fun glitchfest all in itself.

Of all places, GoG is the only storefront where I don't own Witcher 3. Kinda ironic since this would be the top place these days to be playing any of that series.
For some reason I can't add the REDKit to my library, it says I need to own The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, I own the Complete Edition.

Maybe (just maybe - I'm spitballing here) the REDkit needs the "normal" Wild Hunt?

The symbol kinda supports that notion, since it doesn't show the "complete edition" banner.

But again: this is just me spitballing - I own both versions, and it worked for me, so I'm in no position to claim knowledge on this issue.

Edit: yeah - seems like it needs the "normal" TW3: WH.
If you click on the link in the first post, it takes you to the shop page of the "non-complete edition".

After reading the previous reports I first checked my mails – no confirmation and no others that bought the game also bought X mail.
Then I went to the store page and it says that I already own the REDkit. Very weird (and inconsistent) way of handling this, GOG.

I only own the Complete version.

See my edit above.

Well, something is definitely off here.
Some people get it automatically, others don't.

Some who get it have both versions of the game, others own apparently only one.

Some who don't get it, apparently only own one version (some may own both - not yet confirmed, though).

I'd say, this is a typical GOG release. :o)

For my part, I own both versions and I didn't get it on my library, I manually add it.

Well, that confirms that, then.
Such an incredible gift — thank you CDPR and GOG!

CP2077 RedKit soon too, perhaps, pretty please? :) *fingers crossed*

00063: WTH GoG? auto-adding is not nice! I literally will never use this tools. And why does it had to be a new entry couldn't it be just under extras? No respect for library space, unbelievable.
I agree. I think I'll contact GoG support to get this removed from my library. I hate mods, I hate modding, I didn't even mod Skyrim or Fallout.
Hi all . trying to get Red kit downlaoded and at about 91% it gives me Error E9 and wont installl and even give error when trying to uninstall . My path is the main established path by the GOG launcher C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games
same directpry as the The actuall game is installed. one follwos all recomendent steps and gets eror in return, there must be something broken here.
high rated
The main question is as always:

Why do they never do anything the opt-in AKA the sensible way? Why does it has to be opt-out via support?

amigos4000: WARNING !

GOG downloaded me an update for The Witcher 3
Now all the saves I had crash and I can't continue the game!
I also tried deactivating the "activate MOD" option but nothing changes.

At this point for now, I would recommend turning OFF updates to the game if you haven't downloaded it yet, otherwise you won't be able to play it anymore if you were playing it!

BreOl72: Ah, the "benefits" of using an online client.
An online client that cannot install the kit due to network issues… This will be my second attempt, then it's off to install the kit manually…
