GOG.com: Release: The Darkest Files
This reminds me: I still haven't watched "Der Staat gegen Fritz Bauer" ("The People vs. Fritz Bauer" (2015)).
Next up, The X Files. (one can hope, anyway)
The gamecard is lying.

"Sound: Anything"

I tried to connect some wingums to my PC and could not hear a thing :D
Looks interesting, but I feel like I have only a quite hazy idea of what the actual gameplay is like. I wish there was a demo, though I imagine it would probably be hard to "carve out" a sensible one out of a game like this. Maybe a separate mini-case?
Game like this should really be free since the German government and EU promotions funded it. (as far as I'm aware.)

The German Government might have supported this AS WELL but a quick research showed me that this was originally a kickstarter project:

(Btw: There is a link to the demo on this page as well ... but it is hosted on Steam only apparently)

A demo exists. On steam, though.
I find myself guilty of the thought "who'd play the game instead of reading a book or watching a doku(or not) film on the subject"?

Wanted to try the demo first, but it's only on Steam. Why? So we can't check it out here before buying? Sketchy.
