Lay off the hot dogs, kids.

The Adventure Pals is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.
Gadzooks! An evil man is turning old people into hot dogs! This is totally unsavory and must be stopped. Ride your trusty giraffe, gather your friends, and get to platforming, fighting, and sometimes chatting your way through the off-the-wall levels. Hilarious high jinks and leveling-ups ensue, involving dinosaurs, pirates, lost underwater cities and trees standing around in their underwear.

ReynardFox: Oh, a style-less itch.io blob of a game from a literal free flash website game developer, this is turning out to be one spectacular week of releases.
Hey! Last week was Mafia 2 and 3. They can't all be like that! (Mostly cause I'd go broke)

Vythonaut: Was it this game that stole all the color from Minit? :P
Nice one . :)
Never even heard of this up to this point, but seems to be right up my alley. Platform-y adventure game? Yeah, I'm sold. Looks polished enough to be playable and I've been craving something silly and colorful anyway.
I think i'll buy A Boy and His Blob instead .

"What time is it?"
"IT'S ADVENTURE PALS!"

But it seems very nice, I must admit.
Armor Games? They publish indie games now?

So can we expect an overpriced "remaster" of Godlimation's Trapped Trilogy to be popping up some time soon?

Maybe that's just me, but I feel they're trying too hard with the art style choices and humor. Treasure Adventure World, in example, has plenty of cute characters and humor as well, but is much more subtle about it. This one just seems to shout "OLOLOL LOOK AT ME I'M HILARIOUS!!1". Sometimes less is more.

Edit: Gotta give them props for the backpack giraffe, though. Almost want to buy it just for that...

I just started playing, a few impressions.
After playing Celeste, it feels really forgiving ^^.
It's trying to average a bit of everything, puzzles (nothing too hard), plateforming, combat. It's pretty well balanced and relaxing. A bit too easy ? But I'm a veteran and I'm only early game.
Great control, which is the base for a good plateformer.
Difficulty is raising slowly, levels get bigger, new elements are added regulary (mostly to the environement, not much to your skills from what I see). New blocks, grappling hook mechanism, new ennemies...
The XP system seems a bit unnecessary but it adds some variety - as you get to chose a skill each time - mostly combat from what I saw so far.
Silly stuff everywhere. Nothing hillarious, but it's ok, the tone is light and I'm fine with that (yeah, again, my last plateformer was Celeste, sooooo, I'm fine with shallow stuff now :p)

In general a really nice surprise.
Looks like Alien Hominid.

I dont know about that, I thought it was a tape worm at first or some sort of parasite...... too many zombie games i guess
Hmm the game looks nice enough. Some of the trailer reminds me of Earthworm Jim plus obviously Treasure Adventure World. And the visuals obviously add some Adventure Time flair, although I don't really know that show.

Seems like a pretty good way to spend some hours and cash.

Offtopic >> From the gamecard:
... you'll help a whale regain confidence, take a side in the battle between toast and dinosaur, travel to a legendary sunken city and decide the fate of a Pirate election.
Ohh should I hire Cambridge Analytica to help with that? Maybe create a bunch of fake news?
