Looks good, wishlisted for now.
I made the leap. Right now I can only say: it does scratch the itch nicely, and I appreciate the humor very much, but don't expect a FFVII.
Six crashes today ... this game isn't stable, sadly. It's great! Or would be.

... make that 40 crashes. I just asked for a refund. Damn, I loved this, but this is just absurd.

Judging from your other post, it sounds like you should expect a FFVII, provided that FFVII is the old PC version, which had a tendency to crash. I played through it to Disk 3, but (aside from the other issues with that game) the crashes were quite frustrating, particularly given that you could only save at save points.

I didn't have any crashes in Final Fantasy VII. Then again, I played the PSX version in 1997. No crashes, just the worst German translation known to man.

Sounds like my experience with the remaster of Bioshock 2.

That's because you played the PSX version (and had a properly functioning console and disk). The PC version wasn't so stable.
FFVII PC was stable on the two machines I ran it on, but I can believe others weren't so lucky. Reportedly the PS1 code it was ported from wasn't even the final version.

Both Bioshock remasters suck, the bare minimum improvements ain't worth the technical issues (and I don't even like some of the changes personally), so if you're still playing Bio2 maybe consider switching to the original version

Luckily, I was still able to finish it. But thanks for the tip. :)
