Immerse yourself in a roguelike top-down shooter with retro pixel graphics and procedurally generated maps. Teleglitch: Die More Edition is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM!

Set off to the cold and dark world of the future dominated by mega-corporations. Here, on a small lonely planet, you become a scientist who has suddenly awoken to the realization of being the sole survivor…

If you feel like giving Teleglitch: Die More Edition a shoot, we have good news - the game is free until 15th November 2020, 2 PM UTC!

After that date, the game will receive a 75% discount, which will end on 20th November 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
I suck at the game but it's fun! I haven't played it in a long time though, so this inspires me to pick it up again...

Breja: Somehow it still looks overpriced :D

GeraltOfRivia_PL: why
Someone could cut themselves on those pixels. ;)
While I despise permadeath, I do love pixel art so I can feel good about playing around with this title, thanks GoG/paradox!
HOly Shit! It's finally here!

Thank you for the freebie! :)
The graphics are ugly but I'll give it a try. Thanks.

As said before it is really strange why Linux is not supported whenever possible.
This is extremely clear when looking at the sales ...
And Wine is no option if you want to really play under Linux ... if one would like
Wine/Proton one would use Steam to buy games.

It is not wise to treat customers badly ... sometimes it is just missing offerings
which let people rethink there choices and buy elsewhere.
And the minimum would be to explain why the Linux version is not present.

Currently I got the impression that Devs care a lot more about quality on GOG
than GOG does - this is not sane ... in the long run at least.

At least a statement about the two missing ports would have been appropriate.
As the are advertised by Paradox itself:
* https://www.paradoxplaza.com/teleglitch-die-more-edition/TGTG01GSKtelg001.html
"OS Compatibility:
Supports linux
Supports mac
Supports windows".

And even though I own some Paradox titles I am sure that GOG has much more
interest to keep me (as one of many) Linux users happy - well, at least it should.
If GOG no longer cares for all ports - publishers can always say
"Windows are bigger numbers - no need to provide something else".
And it is GOG's part to prevent this to get a common rule.

So for me this is currently only an annoyance ... and I hope the Linux version
will be provided soon. But this trend is extremely worrying.

fortune_p_dawg: this was one of the first games i ever bought on desura.
I have a vague memory it was either Steam only through Desura or got pulled from Desura when it made it onto Steam. I definitely remember being annoyed for some reason...

Anyway, I have it free now so nothing to be annoyed about there.

So a game I got in 2013 to 2014 finally releases on GOG for free... If I had of known this I would not have bought it on steam oh what the hell it's only 7 years later and it's free... Welp just added it to my kolection, Aye Komrade!
Well, it's a free game, so thanks! But the graphics and the lack of the Linux version probably will prevent me from playing this game ever.
This is a nice surprise. Thank you. :)
