General Troubleshooting
-----------------------

If you're experiencing black screen / crash on launch, please try the following:

- Before starting the game, change video resolution to your desktop one (or the closest match). if that fails, try falling back to 1024x768. Video settings can be found under GOG Galaxy HERE
-- or in Start Menu HERE.
- Close any unnecessary applications running in the background, especially ones overlay-based like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, GeForce Experience, FRAPS etc.
- If running multiple screen setup, try switching to a single monitor.

If none of the above helps, please send your DxDiag to our Support team HERE. The more information we have, the easier it will be to pinpoint the problem.

May the Force serve you well.

I wonder if there was any special fix in reference to LAN or do we need to provide something like the IPX Wrapper like with the retail version?

Also curious if dgVoodoo got included as it definitely works with the original retail copies. Forcing the resolution isn't exactly advised though as it seems to cause interface glitches (at least the last time I checked).
At last! Will probably get it during some later sale.

The Force strong with GOG is.

Ansob: I'm also getting crashes at launch, despite the game resolution being set to the same as my desktop resolution. I'm assuming a missing dependency of some kind?
Please send DxDiag to our Support, it will help us pinpoint the problem: :: CLICKY ::
I suspect not dependencies but more like some app / overlay conflict - but without proper info I can only have general troubleshooting.

oh nice. kind of hung up on a backlog but I'll def pick this up later. I remember having fun with it on n64. thanks for bringing this here, all.
Getting a crash upon trying to launch. Says "Unable toopen display for 3D". Tried various compatability modes but the issue persists.

My specs are:
Windows 10 - 64bit (latest build)
7700K / 1080 ti (lastest drivers installed) / 16GB of DDR4 Ram

Request opened - sent my dxdiag as well as the WER reports for the last crash and the Application event log errors.

Only overlay I'm running is the nVidia GeForce Experience one, I'll see if disabling that stops the crash.

edit: tested it with the nVidia overlay disabled and that doesn't seem to stop the crash.

Yes :)
This is wonderful!
Raced a bit and it is as good as I remember it. So much fun! \o/
It's been... about 17 years since I last played it.

amurgaming: Great release. But even though the store-page says the game supports controllers, none of my gamepads (Logitech F310, XBO for Windows) work, which renders the game unplayable for me at this point.
Someone on GOG Twitch not long ago mentioned that to get controllers work, you'll have to go back from the profile in game to the main menu or something like that, but it should work that way.

Dude, you liked my "Buy Poo" pic! :P I'm grateful, but it doesn't exactly set you up as someone who's taste and judgement we should rely on. XD If people start to think your as messed up as me, you'll be doing your cause more harm than good.
Whoa, if even the Pod Racer game is rereleased in gog, maybe there's hope that Hal Barwood's Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine will be released as well. I really hope so at least.

I just like jokes that involve dooty. They make me chuckle. Although, my tastes and judgements are likely agreeable, of course people should rely on their own. Haha.

From all the goo-ing and gah-ing around here, I'm guessing the screenshots are giving me a poor impression. From those, it looks like an empty and generic low-altitude arcade racer.
Oh my! I never expected this. Thank you for an amazing release! I'm now once again hoping that Battle for Naboo arrives here as well. :D
Can't get the game working :(.
Im using a laptop with Integraded intel graphics card and GTX 1050Ti. I've tried to match video resolution with my desktop but 1080p isn't listed there. What can I do?
Thanks! :)
Awesome to hear, does the online multiplayer work?
