J Lo: Think we'll get the Marvel vs Capcom re-release?

wolfsite: All comes down to how satisfied both Disney and Capcom are with sales on GOG, so they will listen to wallets being pulled out to pay for there games above all.
I'm not sure about Disney, but it looks like the re-release of the old Resident Evil games was well received. Maybe Capcom can convince Disney to bring it here.

It just occurred to me as I'm typing this that Disney might not be the only other party here. The MvC games have X-men characters that belong to Fox, and Spider-Man which belongs to Sony. Nintendo managed to get those characters together for Ultimate Alliance 3, which leaves me with a sliver of hope, but mostly doubtful.

I think Fox only had movie and Television rights to those characters, however Disney now owns Fox Entertainment division so they should have all the rights except for Spider-Man characters remaining with Sony.
